Make a personal insurance claim
If you want to register your claim as soon as possible, fill in the online form and submit your claim for personal insurance.
In the event of an accident, it is important to stay calm and take the steps that will help you record the damage correctly.
What to do in the event of an accident?
First of all, when any incident occurs, you should take all possible measures to avoid or reduce any potential damage:
1. Stop the spread of damage
Depending on the nature of the accident, take reasonable steps to avoid or minimize potential damage and follow our instructions if such instructions have been given.
2. In case of accident by accident insurance
Immediately - no later than within 48 hours. - contact a medical institution. Obtain and provide us with medical documents about the established diagnosis and prescribed treatment. Follow the doctor's instructions and try to reduce the consequences of an accident or illness. Report the incident online at www.ergo.lt/zalos or by phone 1887 no later than 30 days, in case of death - within 20 days.
3. In case of personal liability insurance accident
First of all, provide assistance to the victim and call an ambulance. If a water supply accident has occurred, it is necessary to immediately stop the running water - if possible, turn off the water valve yourself or call the emergency service or home assistance if you have chosen this service in your Property insurance. Document the incident scene and the damage with photographs. Inform the affected person (in the case of flooding - your neighbor) that you have insurance and that they can contact ERGO for any incurred losses. Provide your neighbor with your Personal Liability insurance policy number or the claim number and your name, surname. Then, register the damage yourself in the ERGO self-service at www.ergo.lt/zalos or by calling the short number 1887 (from abroad +370 5 2683222). You must do this verbally within 24 hours, and additionally in detail in writing within 3 (three) calendar days. Follow our instructions if any instructions were given. Immediately inform us in writing at zalos@ergo.lt if third parties contact the court regarding the damage caused by you and/or your family members.
