Notice of Insurance Contract Withdrawal
The policyholder (natural person) shall have the right to withdraw from a distance contract (concluded by means of distance communication) without giving any reason within 14 days of the date of conclusion of the contract.
The policyholder’s right to withdraw from a distance contract shall not apply to travel and baggage insurance contracts or similar distance insurance contracts with a term of less than one month, or to distance contracts that have been fully performed by both parties, at the consumer’s express request, before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Upon withdrawal from a distance insurance contract, the payer shall be refunded the amount paid, less the amount payable in proportion to the period during which insurance cover was provided up to the date on which the request was received.
