Your photos are securely stored by the insurer for as long as required by insurance regulations and legal obligations, typically up to 10 years after the policy ends, in line with GDPR principles. If the photos are shared with our trusted processing partner, they are only stored there for a maximum of 60 days before being deleted.

Under GDPR, you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data, including submitted photos. However, your insurer may need to retain certain photos for the duration required by insurance regulations or legal obligations. Photos stored with our processing partner are automatically deleted within 60 days.

TriNetra is designed with your privacy in mind. It does not inherently track your location for general usage. 

However, if you grant explicit permission for location access, TriNetra will capture the geospatial metadata of the images you capture. This is done solely for security and audit purposes, providing crucial context and verification for each inspection photo. This location data is then stored and transmitted in a manner fully compliant with GDPR and all other applicable regional data privacy laws. The scope of location data capture is strictly limited to this specific function. 

Beyond this, TriNetra does not capture any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from your device. For essential audit trails and internal quality control, we may collect non-PII information such as your user agent (which identifies your browser and operating system). This data is generic and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Photos help your insurance company verify the current condition of your vehicle or property. This ensures accurate policy details and helps process claims smoothly if needed.

Your location is requested to help verify the authenticity of the photos and ensure they correspond to the correct property or vehicle. Location access is optional and only used if you grant permission.
