Business Continuity Lead (Maternity cover)
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Business Continuity Lead to join our Baltic Risk Management team as part of the second line of defence. This is a temporary position for approximately two years, covering maternity leave. In this key role, you will develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive business continuity framework to ensure regulatory compliance and strengthen the company’s operational resilience. As a Business Continuity Lead, you will work cross-functionally with departments and vendors to identify risks, develop emergency and recovery plans, and provide regular updates to management and regulators.

Key responsibilities:
Ensure alignment with Group policies and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Oversee and facilitate the development of emergency, business, and resource recovery plans.
Challenge and evaluate the effectiveness of business impact analyses.
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate mitigation plans for operational disruptions.
Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to maintain business continuity readiness.
Lead business continuity awareness initiatives, training sessions, testing, and simulation exercises.
Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure compliance with the company’s continuity standards.
Prepare and present regular status reports to management and regulatory bodies.
What we expect:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management.
Strong knowledge of business continuity standards, regulations, and best practices in the financial sector.
Prior experience in business continuity planning, emergency management, or a similar role.
Professional certification in Business Continuity Management (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a mature, proactive mindset.
Fluency in English and at least one Baltic language (Latvian, Lithuanian, or Estonian).
