Tech lead / ABAP Developer

We are looking for a Tech Lead / ABAP Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and documenting software programs in collaboration with business analysts, architects, and other developers. You will provide guidance and consultation to other departments regarding standards, work processes, and technologies. Additionally, you will lead a team of developers and ensure software compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices. If you have extensive experience in ABAP development, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to delivering complex solutions, we invite you to apply!

Your main responsibilities:

Design, implement and document software programs in cooperation with business analysts, architects, and other developers

Consultations for employees of other organizational units regarding standards, work processes, guidelines and technologies used in the Department and across other Departments

Training and/or mentoring of the junior staff in the respective area of expertise

Delivery of complex/multi-level developments across our technical landscape

Ensure software compliance to company guidelines and industry best practice standards

Lead team of developers

Key skills: OO ABAP

Key skills: Custom development and product configurations based on customer specification (reports, BADI enhancements)

Key skills: REST services

Our expectations:

At least 5 years of professional experience as ABAP developer

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and documenting software programs in collaboration with analysts, architects, and developers

Excellent English communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation

Experience mentoring junior staff and guiding standards, processes, and technologies

Skilled in delivering complex software solutions while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and responsible approach to work

Experience in leading a team will be advantage
