Senior Actuary (Non-Life)
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Senior Actuary (Non-Life). In this role, you will be responsible for preparing data for technical reserves, participating in Solvency Capital Requirement calculations, and supporting statutory reporting and portfolio risk modelling. You will also contribute to report automation, conduct in-depth data analysis, and provide ad hoc actuarial insights. Your main responsibilities:
Prepare data for technical reserves calculation and participate in calculation of technical provisions (IFRS and SII basis).
Participate in Solvency Capital. Requirement calculation process and related activities, including reporting.
Participate in report automatization and document update (methodologies/instructions) activities.
Participate in statutory reporting activities.
Participate in portfolio and risk modelling.
Conduct in-depth result analysis (data review, presentation, and commentary).
Conduct ad hoc actuarial analysis.
Our expectations:
Higher academic education in mathematics, statistics, IT or actuarial science.
Previous work experience as actuary or data analyst in the insurance industry.
Strong presentation skills.
Experience in data processing.
Proactive behavior and ownership of work is encouraged.
Good analytical and mathematical skills, accurate working methods, strong attention to details.
Experience with data management programs (e.g. R,Python, SAS); experience with R is not mandatory, although it is preferred.
High analytical skills to handle complex tasks, forward-looking and strategic thinking.
Knowledge of IFRS17 and/or Solvency II.
Capable of analysing data, drawing insights, creating presentations, and providing feedback.
Very good knowledge of Excel.
Fluent English and local language skills.
