Head of Planning and Controlling Division (Temporary role)

This is a fixed-term position for approximately two years, offering a unique opportunity to lead financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis across three countries. You'll play a key role in shaping strategic decisions and driving business efficiency for one of the leading insurance groups in the region. Key responsibilities:
Manage controlling and planning function and lead the team on Baltic lev
Preparation of regular and/or ad-hoc financial reporting to provide an overview of business and financial performance (Local and ERGO Group).
Management of the budgeting, forecasting and mid-term planning process.
Development and implementation of efficient planning, controlling and forecasting processes. In particular, the use of modern technologies, Datawarehouse, robotics.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying deviations and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Provide strategic guidance and actionable insights to senior management based on financial analysis and performance metrics.
Building, leading and sustaining a highly motivated and high performing team culture.
Our expectations:
Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in financial, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and/or controlling roles.
Experience of working in the insurance sector would be a great advantage.
Team management experience.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
Strategic mind-set, strongly oriented on business and efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Fluent English and local language skills.
