Make a travel insurance claim
If you want to register your claim as soon as possible, fill in the online form and submit your claim for home insurance.
In the event of an accident, it is important to stay calm and take the steps that will help you record the damage correctly.
What to do in the event of an accident?
First of all, when any incident occurs, you should take all possible measures to avoid or reduce any potential damage:
1. Stop the spread of damage
Depending on the nature of the accident, take reasonable steps to avoid or minimize potential damage and follow our instructions if such instructions have been given.
2. What to do if you get sick or injured while travelling abroad?
In the event of an incident, please contact the ERGO Insurance SE Lithuanian branch immediately by phone +370 5 2683222 (on working days) or the travel medical assistance partner of the ERGO Insurance SE Lithuanian branch abroad 24 hours per day: Euro Assist, UAB, tel. (+370) 52 322 944, email: claims@euroasista.lt. If expected costs for outpatient treatment and medicines prescribed by a doctor do not exceed EUR 500 or damage occurred outside of the medical expenses insurance, about the event report online at www.ergo.lt/zalos.
3. About documents
Please note that the documents issued to you by the doctor should include the date of treatment, diagnosis, and listed services. Treatment bills must be certified by the doctor's signature and seal. Only medicines officially prescribed by a doctor are paid for.
4. Medical assistance in USA, Canada, Australia
In the event that medical assistance is required in the United States, Canada, or Australia, please contact us or our assistance partners (see contacts above) prior to seeking treatment in the US, Canada, or Australia with a request to indicate the individual's health care facility where medical assistance will be provided, if possible to the nature of the health disorder, its circumstances and consequences.
5. Payment for medical assistace
If you do not have the means to pay for the necessary assistance yourself, ask the medical facility to contact our medical assistance partner at tel. (+370) 52 322 944, e-mail by mail: claims@euroasista.lt.
