Junior Planning & Controlling Specialist

We are looking for a Junior Planning & Controlling Specialist to join our Baltic team. In this role, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the Baltics, contributing to the analysis of financial results and key performance indicators of ERGO’s activities. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional at an early career stage who wants to grow in planning, controlling, and financial reporting within an international environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and forecasting processes for Life and P&C businesses.

  • Assist in the budgeting process (local and Baltic level).

  • Prepare and maintain cost reports for different purposes (budget holders, cost centers, cost budgets).

  • Contribute to Baltic and Pan-Baltic reports, including sales channel and cost budget reports.

  • Support preparation of loss ratio reports and market overview analyses.

  • Prepare templates and reports related to GWP data and cost budgeting.

  • Assist with regular reporting to Management Board, Supervisory Board, and Group.

  • Support preparation of information for annual reports.

  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports upon request.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (could be student).

  • Basic understanding of budgeting and planning processes.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Very good Excel skills; experience with reporting tools is an advantage.

  • Fluent English, local language skills.

  • Good communication skills, ability to manage priorities, and willingness to learn.

  • 1–2 years of experience in reporting, controlling, finance, or a similar role (can include internships or junior positions) (advantage).

  • Experience in insurance organization (advantage).
