Multifaceted financial support

You can choose the desired sum insured and duration (the minimum sum insured must be not lower than EUR 1,500, and the maximum amount is unlimited). Often, the sum insured of life insurance is equal to the employee’s wages for several years.

Comprehensive accident insurance package

Employees may be covered by additional accident insurance that includes coverage of insurance against death, insurance against disability, insurance against temporary disability and insurance against bone fractures. It is also possible to choose additional medical assistance insurance, daily allowance or hospitalisation allowance.

You can choose additional critical illness coverage (not applicable for one-off premium insurance option). For adults, we apply a wide list of critical illnesses (17 illnesses). This insurance coverage takes effect after 3 months.

If the insured persons becomes fully incapacitated for work and the level of participation (working capacity) is determined to be 0-25%, the full insurance amount is paid out.

Frequently asked questions about life insurance

ERGO life insurance for business is a non-cumulative life insurance covering the person only against the risk of death (sometimes referred to as the risk insurance). The sum insured is paid out if your employees dies due to illness or is killed during the insurance period.

The life insurance benefit is paid out  in the event of the death of the insured employee due to illness or accident, with the exception of non-insurable cases specified in the rules, more information on them is available here: [link]. In the event of death, the insurance benefit will reach the beneficiaries much more quickly if you designate the employee as the beneficiary. The beneficiary may be appointed by the insured person when concluding the contract and changed before the occurrence of an insured event by notifying the insurer in writing.
