What is covered by customs procedures liability insurance?

With this insurance, we ensure the fulfilment of the obligation of the policyholder (executor of the customs clearance procedure) to pay the amounts of customs duties and taxes determined by the EU legislation and the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, if the policyholder does not properly fulfil the assumed obligations while performing the customs procedure specified in the insurance policy and in the single and/or general customs guarantee document issued by the insurer, and will not pay the due amount (debt) of customs duties to the customs authorities.

It is a document guaranteeing the fulfilment of the tax obligations of the policyholder (operator of the customs procedures) to the customs authorities of the Republic of Lithuania, which is issued and used for a single customs procedure
General customs guarantee
It is a document guaranteeing the fulfilment of the tax obligations of the policyholder (operator of the customs procedures) to the customs authorities of the Republic of Lithuania, which is issued and used for several uniform customs procedure.
